The Jiggly Wrigglers Came To Visit Us At Caraway House

We were delighted to welcome the Jiggy Wrigglers to Caraway House Care Home in Selsey for a fun-filled visit with our residents.

With tambourines, dancing and bubbles, the session brought plenty of movement from our little visitors and created a lovely opportunity for residents to enjoy music and movement together. Shared activities like this are an important part of life at Caraway House, providing opportunities for residents to take part in enjoyable social experiences.

Meaningful contact and opportunities to connect with others are particularly important for people living in care settings. The UK Government’s 2026 review of Regulation 9A found strong agreement that maintaining meaningful relationships is essential for residents’ wellbeing and quality of life. It also recognised that a lack of contact can contribute to feelings of isolation and distress.

Visits such as this can provide a welcome change to the day while giving residents the opportunity to engage with others in a relaxed setting. Whether joining in with the dancing, playing a tambourine or enjoying the bubbles, residents could take part in a way that suited them.
