Here at Caraway House we’re proud to offer our residents with a wide selection of movies to choose from, as well as being able to create a cosy place for our residents to feel even more connected throughout their stay. Our cinema room is ideal for residents and their loves ones, for a space where they feel at ease, where they can be themselves; it’s the perfect area within our home for friends, families and loves ones to sit back, relax, enjoy a film together all whilst making more memories.

There is only one way to experience a big screen, by sitting comfortably with delicious popcorn. From all of us at Caraway House Care Home, we encourage you to do just that; take a seat in our luxurious cinema room, relax as much as you can whilst you enjoy your favourite films.

Our residents can also rent out our cinema room if they wish, to spend more quality time with loved ones in a more private setting. It’s the ideal area for our residents to unwind. So, whether you’re settling in time to see an old favourite, itching to see something brand new, or want to reminisce with old home movies, our cinema has a seat with your name on it.

Bringing The Big Screen to You

Although we have a range of projectors and screens around the home within our communal lounges, our cinema room creates an experience for residents, whether thats to watch films, TV shows or football matches, we even put on Christmas films during the festive seasons.

Whether you’re watching a film alone, or with a friend or family member, it can overall improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing; not to mention your creativity, curiosity and memory. Getting immersed into a wonderful film is one of life’s simplest pleasures and we don’t see why that should ever disappear here at Caraway House Care Home.

Cinema Room FAQs

Our cinema has been designed to provide all of our residents with the full cinematic experience, without having to leave the comfort of their own home. From a big projector screen and comfortable seating to cinema-style snacks, with lots of films to choose from.

Anyone can make use of our cinema room as a part of their monthly fee and if requested, we can arrange for residents to have private viewings with their friends and family.

We have a wide range of films and genres to choose from and we work close with our residents to learn about their favourite films so we can make sure we can offer something for everyone and on occasion, we will put on special televised events such as sports and national celebrations.
