A Sparkling Start to the Festive Season at Caraway House

The festive season has officially begun at Caraway House, and it started with a truly magical evening. Residents, families, and staff recently gathered for our annual Christmas lights switch-on, which was filled with warmth, laughter, and plenty of Christmas cheer.
As everyone made their way outside, there was a wonderful sense of anticipation. When the lights were switched on, the home instantly transformed into a glowing winter scene. Twinkling garlands, colourful decorations, and the soft sparkle of Christmas lights created a cosy and joyful atmosphere. The smiles and excited reactions from residents made the moment extra special, and it was lovely to see families taking photos, sharing stories, and enjoying the evening together.

The switch-on event was not only about the lights. It was also a chance for our community to come together. Residents enjoyed spending time with loved ones, and there was a strong feeling of connection throughout the evening. Staff were on hand to support everyone and join in the celebration, helping to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for all.
One of the biggest highlights of the night arrived in the form of two very special festive guests. A pair of Christmas llamas visited Caraway House and quickly became the centre of attention. Residents were delighted to meet them, stroke their soft fur, and pose for photos. The llamas were gentle, friendly, and wonderfully patient, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For many residents, it was their first time meeting a llama, and the visit sparked laughter, conversation, and many memorable moments.

We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this special occasion. Your presence helped create a warm and uplifting atmosphere that perfectly reflected the spirit of the season. Events like this remind us how important community, companionship, and shared experiences are at Caraway House.
With the Christmas lights now shining brightly, we look forward to the celebrations still to come and to making even more festive memories with our residents throughout the season.
