Our gardens provide the perfect outdoor space for our residents to safely enjoy nature, whilst taking part in gardening activities, from potting new plants to tending those already in bloom. Spending time in our gardens is a great way to socialise, allowing residents to get to know other like-minded residents, whilst also having a sense of independence and responsibility. At Caraway House Care Home, we see the benefits in which gardening and enjoying the outdoors has on our residents, which is why we always try and get some activities arranged outside when the weather allows.
Our private, beautiful gardens are secure and fully enclosed, meaning all residents can enjoy a safe environment. Residents and family members, along with friends are also welcome to spend time within our beautiful garden.
Our outdoor spaces are filled with wonderful wildlife and we have found residents enjoy taking time to observe and feel connected with the outdoors. Our garden and patios also allows our residents to sit peacefully and read a book, do a crossword or even have their meals outside, experiencing the calm and tranquility of nature.

We have plenty of outdoor activities such as walking, gardening, lawn games and when the weather permits, residents can dine Al Fresco, socialising with loved ones, enjoying live entertainment.
Yes, our gardens are accessible to everyone; we have wheelchair accessible paths and seated furniture. Our private garden is safe and secure with proper fencing and gates, preventing residents to go beyond the garden walls. Our walking paths are well maintained and there is lighting around along with other safety features to help prevent falls or other accidents.
